Mobile thermal printer DPU3445 with infra-red interface
DPU3445 from Seiko Instruments GmbH is a portable thermal line-printer with an integrated thermal print mechanism for fast, high-resolution printing - to provide printouts and receipts from medical instruments, a multitude of hand-held data collection devices, Point Of Sale (POS) equipment and even your mobile phone messages.
DPU3445 easily communicates with mobile computing equipment via an external bluetooth interface, the Infra-Red (IrDA 1.0) port and/or BHT Ir technology. It is available with Windows 95/98/2000TM, Windows CE2.0/2.11/CE2.12/CE3.0TM, EPOC32, Unix 5.06, Palm OS and PC2002 drivers. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery which - combined with high memory capacity - allows extended use between battery charges.
The print mechanism of DPU3445 provides an expanded character set in order to print text, figures, lines and boxes in two different font sizes (16 and 24 dots). The print width is 104mm on 112mm paper. The printer weighs only 250g (w/o batteries) and measures 160x89x29mm (WxDxH).
For mobile applications, the new Nylon carry-case comes with a shoulder strap and belt loop, providing comfortable usage for all. The case can also be individualised with an optional customised logo.
Finally, DPU3445 is able to print on various thermal papers up to 145µm using rolls or single sheets, and label-paper up to136µm.
