Thermal Printer MPU-L465 from Seiko Instruments Inc.: Unlimited Mobility with Bluetooth
The new thermal printer MPU-L465 from Seiko Instruments Inc. adds up to the product line of mobile stand-alone printers, being the first printer with an integrated Bluetooth interface. In addition to a faster transmission even more than one device can be driven without any intervisibility of sender and recipient compared to other wireless technologies like infra-red or wireless LAN. MPU-L465 with integrated Bluetooth is a printer of high-quality, state-of-the-art technology for applications like service/ customer service, warehousing & logistics, medical and point-of-sales.
MPU-L465 prints on both standard thermal paper and labels. With an optional peeler the labels are peeled of the supporting foil and can be used right away. Power is supplied either by an AC adaptor or by battery. The integrated thermal printer mechanism features the "Easy-Paper-Operation" system - easy paper loading made by Seiko instruments Inc.
With a resolution of 300dpi ( 12 dots/mm) the printer reaches a printing speed of 85 mm/s. Paper and labels from 70 mm to 115 mm width can be printed on. Various drivers ( Win XP, Win CE.Net) are available.
There are three versions of MPU-L465: A desktop printer ( USB1.1 and RS-232C), a mobile printing unit (Bluetooth1.1, USB1.1 and RS-232C) and a mobile printing unit with peeler (Bluetooth1.1, USB1.1 and RS-232C).
