The Seiko Group consists of three core companies:

Seiko Holdings Corporation
Founded in 1881, it is the trading company responsible for the distribution of watches and clocks manufactured by group member companies. Also other consumer products including jewellery, ophthalmic lenses and golf clubs are marketed by Seiko Corp..
Seiko Instruments Inc.
Founded in 1937, it is one of the world's leading watch manufacturers. It is active in four main areas of business:
- consumer products including watches, electronic dictionaries and musical instruments,
- information devices and systems including computer peripherals, CAE/CAD/CAM systems and terminals for portable information devices
- electronic components including CMOS ICs, LCDs and custom modules,
- production equipment including analytical instruments, semiconductor equipment, machine tools and robots.
Seiko Epson Corporation
Founded in 1942, it has a long history of pioneering developments in micro-mechatronics – the ultimate frontier of mechanical and electronic engineering. Possessing sophisticated research and development skills, it manufactures original, innovative products with high added value, including computers, printers, watches, semiconductors, and liquid crystal displays among other advanced electronic devices.
