Founded in 1937, it is one of the world's leading watch manufacturers. It is active in four main areas of business:

Seiko Epson Corporation

Founded in 1942, it has a long history of pioneering developments in micro-mechatronics – the ultimate frontier of mechanical and electronic engineering. Possessing sophisticated research and development skills, it manufactures original, innovative products with high added value, including computers, printers, watches, semiconductors, and liquid crystal displays among other advanced electronic devices.
